Catrice Made To Stay Long Lasting Cream Eyeshadow review

I got this as a birthday gift and was excited to try it out as it is a really pretty colour. Catrice do really cheap but good quality make up, so I was expecting this to be good! The shade I have is 050 - Metall of Honor

It's a really nice bronzey/gold colour, I like to wear it with UD Smog & Darkhorse

I'm actually really impressed with this eyeshadow. You can build up the colour or just wear a light wash of it on your eyelids. I wouldn't suggest wearing it on it's own without a primer though, it didn't crease on me but the colour definitely faded a good bit. Personally I like to use it as a base and my eyeshadow stays perfect all day. I've been wearing it a lot recently and I don't think I'll get sick of it anytime soon!

Catrice products can be bought from local pharmacies & Penneys across Ireland

Collection (2000) Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Creams Review & Swatches

I always have a huge problems with wearing lipstick - no matter how much I exfoliate, moisturise, prime, my lips will either get too dry or too moisturised. After hearing about these lip creams, I was really excited to try them, and am really impressed with them.

I picked up three shades out of an available four - Cotton Candy, Powder Puff and Fairy Cake.

Overall, I was really, really impressed with these lip creams. For such a good price, they really excel themselves. They last long on the lips, only fading really after drinking or eating, have a great colour payoff (although Powder Puff was a little bit sheer) and are definitely the answer my problem lips. They are a tiny bit drying but only after a few hours, when you need to top them up. They have a sweet scent, like cake mix, that you can smell while applying but not when they're on your lips so if that bothers you then I wouldn't worry about it. I'd recommend these, especially if you have problems finding long lasting lipsticks that don't dry out/over moisturise your lips.

Favourite Make Up Looks - LFW SS13

Make up was kept generally natural during the shows this week so it was easy to pick out my highlights.

Jean Pierre Brazanga - key MUA Terry Barber
There wasn't a lot of colour this season so it was nice to see a pop of colour, especially such a nice blue that complimented the clothes so well.

Acne SS13 I'm a HUGE fan of dramatic eye make up, and this grungy smokey eye is a timeless look, which looks even better on such a beautiful girl like Cara. It softens up the androgynous look which was showcased across Acne's collection.
Christopher Kane SS13 - MUA Lucia Pieroni As I said before, make up was generally left neutral. The hint of eyeliner on the waterline makes this look natural but subtly sexy.

Favourite LFW SS13 collection

As per usual the SS13 collections at London Fashion Week shown the past week have been overall very impressive. The Burberry and Acne collections were incredible, with some key pieces that will definitely been copied into the high street soon enough. Although these collections amazing, my personal collection of the week was by Ashish. I wasn't expecting a collection where I would actually wear most of the pieces - I usually just draw inspiration from pieces. But Ashish really raised the bar and presented a fabulous collection, full of sequins and high class casual wear.
