Current wishlist
1. Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzer - Ah, bronzers. With my sickly pale skin, it is practically impossible to find the right shades of foundation that is light enough, so you can imagine how difficult it is for me to get bronzers to work for me. Every single one makes me look like I've just dropped a packet of cheesy Doritos on my face and they've splattered over various parts of my face. With the reviews I've read of said Chanel bronzer, though, it seems we may have found a solution. The cream-gel bronzer comes in only one shade but is buildable and seems to give a nice velvety finish to the skin. It helps that the packaging is so adorable. It is recommended to wear it as a base as well, although I wouldn't be daring enough to even attempt that. I'm ever so eager to try this (and even though €38 for a bronzer is ridiculous, the amount of product you get seems reasonable).
2 Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - When I found out Urban Decay were releasing a, let's say, updated version of my beloved Naked palette, it was bliss. Like many others, my Naked palette is genuinely one of my most loved possessions. I mean really, what more could you ask for? This is why when I found out they were releasing a new palette, among my happiness I was wondering how they could improve. The updated packaging is so sleek and modern and gives off a general good vibe to the palette. Even though most of the colours are the same, the added colours (particularly the matte colours - Creep to Blackout, such an improvement) - make it a palette that I will continue to lust over for the time being.
3 Topshop Crepe Shirt Dress - Topshop is one of the obsessions among the past year or so that I haven't been able to understand. I find it overpriced and expensive, when you can find practically the same clothes in different shops for cheaper prices. Every now and again I'll have a lurk on the website, though, and this is one of the occasions that I've found something I love. This baby pink ensemble caught my eye immediately - the 50's was one of my favourite eras for fashion and this dress looks like it was just stepped out of the 50's onto the Topshop website. The material looks thick and that it would be long lasting, that you would get a lot of wear out of, which seems to make the splurge of €60 more of an investment.
4 Black Skater Skirt - Something so simple yet so fabulous - a skater skirt can completely change an outfit. Sometime that I consider a wardrobe staple (that I have yet to obtain). I love skater dresses as they're flattering to everyone, and with skater skirts you can change a top you love, but isn't flattering around your hips into something you love to wear. It's amazing how much one piece of clothing can change your entire image.
5 Make Up Forever Smoky Lash - Smoky Lash is one of those products that everyone lusts over - and there must be a reason. I've been putting off buying this for forever - after all, how good could a mascara be. But after seeing everyone's reaction to buying it at IMATS, I've been so excited to try it out. I'm a huge fan of dramatic eye makeup and Smoky Lash seems to give a sultry feel to a look. I'll be sure to do a review when I get it.
6 Thierry Mugler Alien - I've been trying to extend my perfume collection as of recently, and I had heard glorious things about this perfume. When I smelt it, I instantly ADORED it. It smells so sensual. From what I've heard, this fragrance is long lasting and attracts compliments galore. I treat myself to a new perfume a couple of times a year, and this will definitely be the next fragrance purchase.
